awwww...i read something about "lostboys" like. boys who get kicked out of their freaky religious communities. on their own. with nowere to go. is that were you got your lost boy theme? that would be pretty shpiff.. specially if those were all lost boys...heh..
Thats cool... I kinda now wish that was true.
However, "Lostboy Productions" has a different origin. It is a reference to the book, "Peter Pan", by James M. Barrie. Most of us are familiar with Pan and his fights with Cptn Hook, but often people forget about his friend's "the Lostboys" who were all boys who never aged due to living in Neverland.
When I first shot my friends, they loved the photos... and kept them for years.. Eventually, most would ask me for new shoots every year or so to keep up to date shots around for girlfriends and such. Well, over time I had quite a collection of photos of boys that became men. Those photos are my Neverland. They hold times and people I will love and remember forever... even after the child in them has left for college or got married or had a child... When they stopped being a lostboy and grew up.
Im still in contact with 90% of these models today, but we dont see each other every day... now its a phone call every month or so. Lives change and we get busy... but the photos hold our youth and energy with perfection.
I will find new models as I travel on across the globe, and they will eventually grow up to... and I will continue to collect the lostboys along the way.
P.S. On a final note. Sick of people bringing up the title of the vamire movie from the 80's. That was a cool flic... yeah.... but if you think about it, Pan is where it got IT's name from too! (Vampires that dont grow up or age).
THats beautiful. I have hundreds of photos of my friends also. not just snap shots. ive never really gotten around to uploading them. Your photography is such an inspiration. I absolutely *love* the lost boys in peter pan. Its awesome that you thought that up. Its very clever and and just...the most adorable thing ever^_^ i just wanna hug you till you explode! >_< genius... muuahh
I really like the way that you put together the collage. Switching between a darker and lighter photo gives it a nice and balanced look. The models are gorgous! You're a very lucky and talented photographer.
this is awesome..I'd love to see the seperate, full works. my favourites are the second from the left on the first row, second from the right on the second row, from left-to-right on the third; 2-3 + 5-6, and the little signature eye on the bottom is a nice touch and space-filler.
the eye is my logo. I will add that to this site I guess...lol As for the individual photos... I am not sure about uploading them all (that would be about 150+ pics) I will have a private web site soon where all those will be on display and will add the link here then.
